Trak Pro allows you to add COMMENTS to your SHOPPING CART as a whole, as well as comments to INDIVIDUAL LINE ITEM DETAILS. There is no limit, and comments can be attached to ANY Line Item Detail. Tickets, Food, Membership Sales, anything at all. This is a powerful way to add special instructions or any other notes that will improve customer service. Here is an example, using a typical food order:

Take a look at
the Shopping Cart on the left. Notice that there are NO line items
selected. You can tell this because the backgrounds for all the
line item descriptions are white. To add a comment FOR THE ENTIRE
SHOPPING CART, click the ADD COMMENT button while there are NO LINE
ITEMS SELECTED:
A Comment Dialog will appear, allowing you to enter a comment that will be tagged to the HEADER of the Shopping Cart. An example of the dialog is shown below: |

Comments attached to the WHOLE SHOPPING CART will not be visible on the POS Display, but they are available for printing on Transaction Receipts.

Take a look at
the Shopping Cart on the left. Notice that the MASHED POTATO line
item is selected. You can tell this because the background for the
line item is black. To add a comment FOR THE A SPECIFIC LINE ITEM,
click the ADD COMMENT button while THAT NO LINE ITEM IS SELECTED:
A Comment Dialog will appear, allowing you to enter a comment that will be tagged to the Selected Line Item. An example of the dialog is shown below: |

Any Line Item comment entered will be displayed BELOW the Line Item at the next available slot that is ONE LEVEL IN from the Line Item. Notice in the example below, the PLEASE ADD 2... is displayed right under the NO GRAVY, as it is the next available slot that is ONE LEVEL IN from MASHED POTATO. |
