Once a ticket is issued, it is serialized and tracked by the program, and represents a value to the holder. If for some reason you wish to issue a refund or revoke a ticket, then that specific ticket must be marked as “dead”, so that an unscrupulous person cannot try to gain entry with a defunct ticket. If a customer has lost their tickets you might wish to reprint them as a courtesy. Quickly, here are four terms you should know:
REPRINT:
If a ticket is being REPRINTED, that means an exact copy of the ticket as originally issued, will be printed. Usually this is done either to correct jammed or unreadable tickets, or to process orders taken earlier in batch.
REVOKE:
If a ticket is being REVOKED, that means that the ticket is marked as “dead”, and the customer is NOT getting their money back. If the ticket is for a reserved seating event, then that seat is made available for sale again.
REFUND:
If a ticket is being REFUNDED, that means that the ticket is marked as “dead”, and the customer is getting their money back. If the ticket is for a reserved seating event, then that seat is made available for sale again.
RE-ISSUE:
If a ticket is being RE-ISSUED, that means that the ticket is marked as “dead”, a REPLACEMENT ticket with a NEW Serial Number is being issued, and the customer is NOT getting their money back. What they are getting is a replacement for lost or stolen tickets, and the system will recognize the original ticket as being null and void.
Refunding / Reprinting / Revoking / Re-Issuing Tickets by Ticket ID:
This is the preferred way to perform these operations. It is best done by physically having the ticket in your hand, and scanning or entering the Ticket ID.
Begin by scanning or entering the Ticket ID, as shown here:

The details of the ticket will appear, and after you have confirmed them, you can add the ticket to the list to be reprinted, refunded or revoked, as shown above.
Repeat this procedure until you have all the tickets you wish to act upon, then click on the appropriate button below. Confirm your operation.
Refunding / Reprinting / Revoking / Re-Issuing Tickets by Transaction ID:
This method is the second best way to perform these operations. It is best done by physically having the transaction receipt or invoice in your hand, and scanning or entering the Transaction ID.
Begin by scanning or entering the Transaction ID, as shown here:

The details of the transaction will appear, showing the tickets purchased on that transaction. After you have confirmed them, you can add the ticket(s) to the list to be reprinted, refunded or revoked, as shown above.
Repeat this procedure until you have all the tickets you wish to act upon, then click on the appropriate button below. Confirm your operation.
Refunding / Reprinting / Revoking / Re-Issuing Tickets by Attraction ID:
This is the LEAST preferred method to perform these operations. Do this ONLY if you have no way to physically recover the ticket or the receipt.
Begin by selecting the Attraction and the Date/Time, as shown here:

The details of that Attraction/Date/Time will appear, showing the tickets purchased. After you have confirmed them, you can add the ticket(s) to the list to be reprinted, refunded or revoked, as shown above.
Repeat this procedure until you have all the tickets you wish to act upon, then click on the appropriate button below. Confirm your operation.
Refunding / Reprinting / Revoking / Re-Issuing Tickets by Customer ID:
This method is the best way to perform these operations in batch, if you do a lot of customers with ticketing issues to attend to.
Begin by selecting either OPERATOR or POS STATION, as shown here:

Depending upon your selection, you will either see a drop down list of available Operators or POS Stations. After picking one, then you will be presented with a drop down list of available dates that transactions took place for that Operator or Station. The details of the transactions will appear after you select a date and click the FETCH TICKETS button. The tickets purchased for those transactions will be shown. After you have confirmed them, you can add the ticket(s) to the list to be reprinted, refunded, revoked or re-issued, as shown above.
Repeat this procedure until you have all the tickets you wish to act upon, then click on the appropriate button below. Confirm your operation.
